Bank of India Probationary Officers Recruitment. Bank of India will recruit General Banking Officers in Scale I based on their Score in Common Written Exam (CWE) conducted by IBPS.

The notification for Probationary Officer recruitment in Bank of India has been published on the official website of the Bank. Bank of India will recruit General Banking Officers in Scale I based on their Score in Common Bank Exam conducted by IBPS.

Reservation:

SC: 286, ST: 184, OBC: 460, Gen: 870

Pay Scale:

Rs. 14500-25700

Age Limit:

Minimum: 21 years

Maximum: 30 years

Qualification:

Graduate with minimum 60% marks in AGGREGATE from UGC recognized University.

Minimum IBPS Score:

Candidates must have passed IBPS CWE for Probationary Officers to apply for these posts. The Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) should be:

General: 130

SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 117

Interview Marks:

The interview will carry a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for interview will be as follow:

General Category: 50%

SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 45%

 

Selection Procedure:

Only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Common Written Examination (C.W.E) conducted by IBPS (i.e subject wise Objective Test plus Descriptive Test), have the minimum IBPS TWS score specified above and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview in the ratio of 1:3. The candidates should have valid score card issued by IBPS.

Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Common Written Test [i.e. 250 Marks (Objective Test & Descriptive Test)] and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.

Note:  In case of similar marks to two or more candidates the merit order of such group of candidates will be as per their  aggregate written test marks and further as per their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled for relaxation available to them in their respective category.
